Resolved

Doesn't it feel good when you get it just right? When everything you're working for ends the way it should....the way you wanted it to.

Kinda like blowing out a birthday candle.

I have all these resolutions. I haven't so much put them into words, they are just swirly twirly around in my head and already I'm feeling discouraged.

The want in me to be a perfect wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter, blogger means too many spinning plates and not enough hands (or fingers or toes).

I've already failed before I've begun. It's too much. And really, WHO asks this of me? Of us?

I've decided to stick to one resoultion this year.

And that is to love more.

More deeply.

More truly.

I have a feeling everything else might just fall into place.

  3. Ivy's face in that last picture is priceless! So innocent and sweet.

Too many resolutions would overwhelm anyone! I think if you focus on the 1 - love - the rest will just fall into place.

  4. A perfect resolution - and I think you're right that everything else will fall into place then.

    Also, those cupcakes look AMAZING!

  5. OH yes. Absolutely. Including yourself. Because you are so lovable, and you deserve a lot of tenderness as you heal and discover yourself as a woman. xo
