Happy Birthday Ivy!! I cannot believe you are already 2 years old. You are getting to be a big girl! We love watching you grow, even if it is from afar.
I just have to say how blessed I feel to have found your blog. I remember hearing about your sextuplets when I was pregnant with twins in 2007. I felt such pain with the loss of your children. On August 27, 2007, I gave birth to my twins at 23 weeks, 1 day. Our son, Logan, lived only for 1 month and 1 day. Our daughter, Olivia, is now almost 3 1/2 and doing wonderfully. I remember after losing my son. . .I was so grateful to read about your little Sylas. I know the pain of losing one child. . I can't imagine it multiplied. I came across your blog from Carter and Addison's blog today and am so glad to hear about Sylas and your precious daughter, Ivy. God Bless!
Sylas Christopher was born on June 10, 2007, at 22 weeks and 6 days gestation. At birth he weighed 15 oz. and was 10 1/2 inches long. Sylas was the fifth born of sextuplets. His brothers and sisters, Lucia, Bennet, Tryg, Lincoln and Cadence all lived beautiful lives and then went on to be with Jesus. We miss you sweet babies.
Ivy Pearl is Sy's little sis and she has brought much healing to our wounded hearts. Ivy was born on January 5, 2009, at 35 weeks and 5 days gestation. At birth she weighed a whopping 5 pounds, 12 oz. and was 19 1/4 inches long. We are so blessed.
