It Really is That Color!

She's 18 months TODAY.

And, yes. Her hair really is that color. Indoors, it doesn't look so red, but as soon as the sun hits it, it's like a glorious fire.

In less than a month, Ivy will be the age Sylas was when Ivy was born. And I'm not pregnant. That makes me happy and relieved and [maybe] a little bit sad.

My baby is no longer a baby.

  8. Look at that beautiful hair and such a beautiful little girl too! My little Valerie has been growing up so much before my eyes lately too. She's not a baby anymore, but, as my hubby pointed out, she will always be my baby.

  12. My soon to be 3 year old says "Mommy, do you know that I will always and forever be your baby". I am 5 months pregnant now, but she is absolutely accurate.

I thought that was appropriate to share. She is adorable.

  14. Oh I love it! She is so cute! I can't believe how big she has gotten! Your comment about the age gap and not being pregnant hits me the same way as I think forward to Madelynn's 1st birthday a few months from now. I found out the day before Joshua turned 1 that I was pregnant again...looking forward to a 1st birthday without being pregnant.
Enjoy these moments with your sweet toddlers!!
