Hit Me Like a Ton of Grace

Ryan will soon be home to look after Ivy, and then Sylas and I are heading to Milwaukee to start serial casting. I have been feeling very nervous about it, but this morning I woke up with a beautiful peace in my heart.

It's going to be ok. We'll make it through this.

There's grace. There's so much grace.

Don't you all wish Sylas was at your breakfast table?

Sylas is awesome! My prayers are with you guys always. And if you are ever in the southwest, specifically, El Paso, TX we would love to have you over for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. You and your family have become a part of our family. Thank you.

Sylas you are a blessing to all!

Yes, I do wish Sylas could be at our breakfast table, with Ivy, you and Ryan as well! :)

I've been having a particularly hard week and this morning I heard "How He Loves" on my way to work. I got goosebumps and then immediately thought of Sylas singing "He yuvs us, oh how He yuvs us," and it really made me smile.

Praying for you guys as you embark on this next phase of treatment.

Ahhhh!! I want a Sylas at my table!! :)

I'm due on June 30th, but I'll hope for June 10th - that way Sylas and my husband AND our baby can share a birthday :)

I love the joy that Sylas brings to your family!

He definitely doesn't lack in verbal talent :-)
I hope that casting goes well. I'm going to go educate myself on it now.

I have worked with many kids with CP (I was a multiple disability support teacher for 8 years). In anycase I saw many kids increase flexibility with the botox injections and never saw bad side effects. I only have had a few students who had the casting, all also had at least a little improvement. Good luck! Hopefully the time will go by fast. I will be thinking about him.

Oh my goodness!! Are you going to CHW?!? I live less then a mile away and had I known you were coming, I would have offered you to stay at my house! (If you don't mind staying at a total stranger's, that is).

Sylas is an amazing child and he warms my heart every time I see him. Thank you for sharing your family with us!

Tania, you are so sweet. We were actually only at children's for a little over an hour and then went straight home. But thanks a ton for offering.
