Oh my gosh. I watch this at least once a day! Not only does his laugh kill me (in a good way, of course!), but he reminds me SO much of this little boy I used to work with and nanny, named Noah. Noah has a lot of the same issues to overcome as Sylas, and just brings SUCH a joy to everyone around him. I can't get over it! What an incredible, indescribable blessing you have in both your children. They are darling. I'm still hoping I might deliver a few weeks early, and my baby and Sylas (and my husband) will all share the same birthday :) teehee

Hi! My mom forwarded this to me and I cried! I'm so touched by your family! My Mom heads up our Mighty Overcomer Ministry at our church that currently has 10 children that have various special needs (autism, cerebral palsy etc…) and have challenges functioning well in a regular classroom. The life that they hold in them is such a joy! I can see that same life shinning out of your son! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Through reading your posts I feel like I know you and your family personally! I’m now subscribed to your blog and love hearing all the updates! You and your family are in my prayers constantly! It is so awesome how God brings people across our paths to lift us up and keep us going! I’m so glad my mom forwarded this! I’m definitely encouraged from each of your posts!

I am a NICU nurse (and a mother) and I just wanted to thank you so much for sharing this.

I see so many of my coworkers who have been in the field for a million years and have become so pessimistic and jaded.

It's true that these children have a difficult road and that many don't make it.

What I don't understand is why they don't see the possibilities and the JOY!

I always remain optimistic -
this has been a hard week at work,
but this video reminds me to have hope and to have faith.

Much love to you and precious Sylas.
