Hi - Where did you get the adorable patch? My son has to wear a patch as well and he can't stand it, maybe if it was as cute as Sylas' he might like it a little better! Thanks!
We got a whole stack of the "cow" patches from the eye doctor. They are disposable and are just for one time use (though we usually get away with using them twice since Sylas only has to wear it for 1-2 hours a day). I'm not sure what we'll do when we run out.
If the patch starts to bother his eye at all, they make patches that will go over one side of his glasses instead. He looks really content and happy though. I had lazy eye as a child and had to wear a patch and glasses.
The eye patches can be found athttp://ortopadusa.com/sp-bin/spirit?PAGE=29I used them as well, they have a lot of fun designs for boys and girls. My son is done patching, he's 6 now and has had 2 surgeries to try to correct his lazy eye. I have a lot of patches left over if you would like them. Let me know and I'll drop them in the mail to you.Sylas is adorable! What was he for Halloween?
Adorable! Thanks for brightening my day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share. I love hearing from you. P.S. I'm sorry for the word verification step, but oh, my. I'm getting lots of spam.
