Thank You

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your encouragement! I have been so blessed by your kind and thoughtful words.

...and just so you don't think we're all gloom and doom around here...

P.S. One great thing that came from Sylas' neurology appointment is a prescription for private physical therapy! Hooray! His evaluation is tomorrow and from there they'll determine how often he needs therapy. I'm hoping for at least once a week.

  1. Sorry that your news from the neurologist wasn't what you would like to hear - may the joy of Sylas help overcome some of the depth of pain a mom must feel knowing that her child has a struggling road ahead. Please know you continue to be in our prayers,,,,and that Sylas sure looks like he knows how to have fun!!!

  3. That is just the cutest picture!!! I remember when my daughter was a baby - the area where her high chair was had to be painted by the time she out grew the high chair. She made such a splatter mess on the walls - no cleaning could ever get it all of. Such fun times. She is 13 now and oh the attitude that comes with it! I miss those baby days!!!

  6. I'm finding SO much inspiration from one little Bug (and his mom and dad)!! Have been following your story since before Sylas' birth, and he, and you, amaze me! He's truly a miracle - and this picture is a classic! Thinking I'll use it for my screensaver! Maybe - MAYBE - cerebral palsy might slow him down a bit, but I'm thinkin' it's gonna be a pretty minor thing to this jolly little fighter!

From someone you don't know, who has been following your story since the babies were born...

  9. I'm so sorry you didn't get better news, I read your post when you originally posted it, but what words could I, a stranger, provide? I tried to respond several times, but nothing seemed to sound right. After everything your family has been through, I just couldn't find the right words to offer support.

There are so many people praying for your family, for Sylas, and who had cried with you. I do hope that this knowledge will bring you some comfort. God knows the plans he has for Sylas, His will and plans will be revealed--and countless numbers of people will be blessed for it.

Praying for strength for all of you.
