Last Weekend

We're still trying to recover from our busy weekend. We took advantage of the gorgeous 70 degree weather and spent Saturday at Como Zoo and Sunday at the Minnesota State Fair. It was my first time going to the fair and wow I've been missing some delicious greasy food. I actually felt the baby kick for the first time towards the end of the day. I'm not sure if He-She was enjoying or protesting all those cheese curds. Sylas was a little champ strolling around observing all the people with his newly bespectacled eyes. As for the Zoo, Sylas seemed to like the fiberglass animals better than the real ones.

  3. I don't know if you've ever heard the song "Safe & Sound" from Matthew West's new CD "Something to Say." The lyrics are amazing- I have a feeling you'd really love this song. http://www.matthewwest.com/media_default.aspx

  5. Like Sylas my 19 months older sons likes fiberglass animals, in fact he is fond of any kind of animal (real or in the form of a toy, statue, etc.). He just got a mishap last week when he tried to disturb a cat feeding her young kitten, but even that didn't lessen his affection towards animals :).
